“What's wrong?” Mark asked.

“The photo that I was supposed to take of the moon,” I said. “For work. I never managed to take a decent one.”

Mark chuckled to himself.

“What's so funny?” I said. Without replying, he got out of bed, gently placing a pillow beneath my head, and then left the room. A moment later he returned, with my camera in his hand. He displayed the LCD screen to me, and I saw that there were new photos of the moon there – pictures that I didn't take. I began to scroll through them, and saw that they were fantastic.

“You took these while I slept?” I asked, flooded with confusion and relief. “They're amazing!”

“What can I say?” Mark replied, smiling wryly and placing a hand on the curve of my hip. “I have an eye for natural beauty.”
