Terrance looked up and saw her coming. She immediately had all his attention. Her hips were swaying to the beat, her breasts were perky and waist small. Her skin was glistening. Lips had a shiny, juicy look that made him want to grab her and suck them for hours. The intensity in her eyes went straight to his soul. KoKo walked right up to him and said, “You feel like fucking with a real bitch or you satisfied with catching fleas from these mutts?” She looked in the eyes of all the chicks in the VIP room. They in turn looked at her and one said, “No the fuck she didn’t.”

Terrance put his hand up as if to gesture for the girl to shut the fuck up. “Oh, so you ready to fuck with a nigga?” he said, flashing that sexy ass smile.

“I don’t know. Let me buy you a drink and we can talk about it,” KoKo responded.

“Why can’t we drink and talk right here? I’m already comfortable.”

“I don’t eat and shit in the same place. You sitting with some gutter bitches and they fucking with my taste buds.” KoKo turned her nose up at the chicks. The women at the table were getting upset. They had chilled for a minute, but they were ready to fuck KoKo up.

“Damn ma, you just say whatever you want, huh?”

“I can back up whatever I say. These bitches better know.” One of the girl’s eyes got big as hell as she thought to herself, This chick done called us one too many bitches.

“So playa, you wanted to get close to a sista and the window of opportunity is closing. So what you going to do?” She began backing up. Shit, he wasn’t no fool. He stood up slowly. KoKo put her hand out and he took it, leading him off to the VIP section where she always sat. The girls at the table rolled their eyes and sucked their teeth. But it didn’t matter to Terrance; he wanted to get the KoKo experience.

Responsibility

KoKo sat in a restaurant in Virginia closing a deal with Mike, Kayson’s Virginia connect when her phone kept vibrating. “Shit. Let me see who the fuck this is.” She got up from the table and went outside. “Hello.”

“Ah. Yes, is this Mrs. Wells?”

“Yes, it is. How may I help you?”

“This is the nurse at Mount Sinai. You are the next of kin on this form so I called you.”

“Look Miss, you are going to have to state your business because I'm in the middle of something.”

“Your mother in law is very sick and asked us to call you. She needs some medical treatment and wants someone here to help her make deci—”

KoKo cut her off. “I'm on my way; tell her I'll be right there. I'll be there in the next two hours give or take.”

“Thank you, she is very afraid and alone.”

“Tell her I said hang in there. I'm on my way.” KoKo disconnected the call then went inside and finished the deal. She put in a call to the pilot to have that shit running when she got there.

KoKo got to the hospital and was crushed by what she had seen. Kayson’s mother was thin and frail. Tears immediately ran from her eyes. KoKo had been so caught up in her own grief, she had not checked on her like she should have. “Miss Monique.”

Monique turned her head and smiled the biggest smile she had smiled in over a year. “I've been waiting for you, KoKo.”

KoKo came to her side, grabbed her hand, and brought it to her face. “I'm sorry; I haven’t been on point in regards to you. Please forgive me,” KoKo pleaded as tears continued to fall down her face. Monique rubbed her hair.

“Baby, I know it’s been hard for you. No apology necessary.”

Just as KoKo raised her head, the nurse was coming in the room. “Glad to see you made it so fast.” The nurse sat down and told her everything that was going on, including all the options. The cancer had come back and was eating away at her system. She had stopped taking her medicine and the depression wasn’t helping either. After KoKo listened to everything, she immediately knew what to do. She called all her connections and hired a doctor, nurse, chef, and physical therapist around the clock. She ordered everything needed for her care and had it shipped to Dubai. Then she came back into the room and sat on the bed.

“We are going to fight this. I need you to trust me and do exactly what I say,” she told Monique.

“I don’t want to live, KoKo. I don’t have anything to live for.”

“Don’t talk like that.”

“It's true. I want to just die.” Tears ran down her face. KoKo could see all the pain in her eyes and the surrender she had given to death as she just lay there waiting for its cold hand.

“Look. You do have a reason to live and I'm going to show you. But you have to trust me and come with me. I'm going to pack up your place and put everything in storage. Is there anything you need?”

Monique paused then she said, “Yes. All my pictures of Kayson, and there are three boxes under my bed with things he had given me over the years. They are very special to me.”

“Okay, I will get them. It will take another day or two for all the paperwork to get transferred then we are out of here.”

“Where are we going?”

“To Kayson's paradise.” She smiled.

Two days later, they landed in Dubai. They got the same greeting as usual. “Hello, Mrs. Wells.” The chauffeur held his hand out to KoKo.

KoKo took his hand then headed to the limo. They got Monique from the plane and helped her into the limo. They were taken to a small yacht; KoKo didn’t think it would be good to put her in the helicopter. When they got to the house, they were greeted by the staff that KoKo had hired along with the staff that they already had in place. Monique was taken to her room, assessed by the doctor, bathed, and dressed. She was fed and given the medication she needed for the night. Once they were done, KoKo came into her room and sat on the bed.

“How do you feel?”

“Much better. Thank you.”

KoKo smiled. “Remember I told you that you had one reason left to live for?”

“Yes.”

KoKo turned to the door and called the nanny. In she walked holding KoKo's six-month-old son. She took him in her arms and kissed his little lips then handed him to Monique. “This is your grandson.”

Monique started to cry as she held him close to her. “What? How? I don’t understand.”

“I was three months pregnant when Kayson got killed. He was lucky to make it through my surgery from the gunshot, but he did. I came out here, had him, and kept him safe. I couldn’t tell anyone because I didn’t know who was after us. I fly back and forth and see him when I'm not taking care of business.”

“Thank you, KoKo. Thank you,” Monique said, raining kisses all over his face and hands. Her strength was not too firm, but she was determined to use it to hold that baby for as long as she could.

“What's his name?”

“Quran.”

Monique shook her head in approval. “A name befitting of a king.”

KoKo stared at them with such pride and love. “I will make sure that he is in here with you as much as possible.”

“Yes. I have two reasons now. A daughter. And. A grandson.”

KoKo called the nanny and asked her to sit in there with them until Monique was ready to turn him over. Then she left the room. For a couple days, KoKo stayed out there making sure everything was right and the security was heightened, but she had to continue her mission. She left happy because in just those few days Monique's health had improved and she appeared to be on the road to recovery. But before she left, she told her she could never go back and never under any circumstance tell anybody about Quran. They still had enemies and until KoKo found them and killed them, they all were targets.

When KoKo got back, she turned many of her accounts over to Monique. If shit happened to her, she needed to make sure they would be all right.

Head Game

For the last couple of weeks, KoKo had been giving Terrance the chase of his life. She would go to dinner with him dressed to kill and sit across from him and talk real nasty then get a call to leave. One night they were in the restaurant and KoKo was sitting real close to him smelling good. He was rubbing her back and whispering in her ear, putting his best moves on. But true to form, she would come up with some excuse to leave. This night he had to say something.

“Why you teasing a brother? You know I’m feeling you.”

KoKo had just found out all the info she needed to know about his NY connect and had put a plan in motion. So she decided she had to get him distracted so they could move in.

“I’m feeling you, too. I’m just a busy woman; it’s all about my paper. But I think I can pencil you in for tomorrow night. How does ten sound?” she responded.

Terrance jumped all over that. “Ten is good.” Her phone went off just as he was getting ready to lean in for a kiss. She answered it then gave him her famous line. “I got to run. I’ll see you tomorrow.” She got up, hit the table with two yards, and stepped off.

When KoKo got outside, she called Crystal back. “What's up?”

“That girl’s name is Imani.”

“Find out who she run with. I need to know why this bitch keeps staring at me. Sheeit, I'll fuck around and have those eyes on a chain around my neck.”

“Yes ma’am. I’m on it like the stink on shit.” They hung up. KoKo figured she had better do some digging of her own. She didn’t want to take any chances.

Chapter 31

The next night, Terrance had been waiting for KoKo all night. She said she would meet him around ten o’clock and it was now two in the morning and she was knocking at his hotel door. He walked to the door in his jeans and a t-shirt and opened it. There she stood looking delicious as usual. She had on a pair of black Dolce and Gabbana jeans and a sheer Vera Wang shirt, exposing a sexy black lace bra. And of course, she rocked those red bottom heels.

“Can a sista come in?” she asked in her mischievous voice

“I don’t know. You tell me.”

“I brought you all this sexy and you acting all salty,” she said.

“You treating me like I’m on your payroll,” he shot back.

“A’ight. Well, let’s rain check-it then, ‘cause it is late.” she said, looking at him with that ‘I was getting ready to fuck the shit out of you’ look.

Terrance looked at the big purse she was carrying and realized it was not her usual. Damn, she came to give a nigga some pussy. He quickly reassessed the situation.

“Nah, you brought me some sexy, and I want it.”

“I thought so,” she said, brushing her ass against his dick as she passed him.

“Can I have a kiss?” She turned her cheek to him. He looked puzzled.

“I don’t kiss in the mouth.” Terrance started laughing. “You act like I been licking my balls or something. You talk a lot of shit.”

KoKo started smiling. “Because I got it like that.”

“Yeah well, I’m going to have a lot of fun making you apologize,” Terrance said with confidence.

“Apologize? For what?”

“For not giving me some of this pussy sooner.” Terrance pulled her to him, unzipped her jeans, and slid his hand inside her pants. As his hand slid between her legs, he softly began to rub back and forth.

KoKo closed her legs then she grabbed his wrist, but it didn’t stop him. Terrance forcefully pulled her jeans down over her ass, locked eyes with her as he zoned in on her clit, and began to circle it, picking up a small current of speed.

“What? You scared?”

“Yeah, I'm scared that I’m going to fuck your head up and send you home to your bitch in a trance.”

Terrance smiled. The shit that would come out of KoKo’s mouth always tickled him. His dick was hard as hell and she had gotten away from him several times. He wasn’t letting her get away tonight.

“Let me worry about my girl, and you worry about him,” he said, placing her hand on his dick. KoKo was definitely pleased with his size. Her mouth began to water at the thought of him going in and digging deep.
