As for the writer, she will continue her spiritual journey and delight in weaving her discoveries through the plot lines of her tales. For this has been a wondrous adventure, and I look forward to those that lie ahead with great expectation.

At last the final instalment of this Triad/series has arrived. As per usual there are many to whom I owe my gratitude for making this book happen, so here goes …

Firstly, I must thank my poor, overworked husband, David, who has gone well out of his way to ensure I had the time to write this tale and put up with my grumpy moods as I struggled to process all the heavy research material. Many blessings to my nanny, Mo, and my mother, Toni, for taking care of my daughter, Sarah, while I grabbed some time in front of the computer.

On the research front I must thank my new friend, Dianna, for introducing me to the Reverend Michael King of the Melchizedek Synthesis Light Academy (www.aussiemsla.com). Michael aided me with some of the heavy research and was kind enough to proofread this manuscript. The Reverend's assistance is most appreciated. I must also thank Dr Joshua Stone (www.drjoshuadavidstone.com) for his kind invitation to the Wesak Celebration in California this year, I greatly look forward to the experience.

I must also take time here to credit my clairvoyant, (another Michael — must be something in the name?), whose insight and words of guidance have contributed greatly to these tales over the years and to my life.

Next, my gratitude goes to the great gang of people who have been frequenting the message board at my new web site, which the HarperCollins multimedia team set up for me this year: Dianna, Sautia, Rob, Cally,
Corrina, Clair, Michelle, Olivia, Melissa, Sharon, Karita, Rebecca, Christine, Beki, Amanda, Guin, Chi, Haze, Fiona, Annie, Starmie, Leah, Leigh, and all the other regular message posters, many thanks for your wonderful support, ideas, views, stories, poems and encouragement. Also, to our fairy webmother, Deb, a big chug on the shoulder for a job well done, and thanks to Andrew, Laura and Fiona for their assistance as well. Thanks, too, to all those readers who have emailed me during the years that this series has been in publication; your feedback has been invaluable.

To that wonderful gang of authors at the Sassy net, I thank you also for your words of wisdom and for sharing your experience: Kim Wilkins, Ian Irvine, Graeme Hague, Louise Cusack, Richard Harland, Tess Williams and all our new members too — you are wonderful authors and I highly recommend you to all readers. I cannot credit this esteemed list of colleagues without crediting our fearless leader and agent, Selwa Anthony. Words cannot express how much I owe and adore this woman; she is my idol, my friend and my guiding light.

Speaking of guiding lights, thanks to my editors, Sue and Steph, for negotiating a tighter editing schedule than usual, as this tale was a real monster to write and took longer than usual. I'm sure readers appreciate your efforts to get this tale to the bookstores as soon as possible.

As for the rest of the team at HarperCollins, especially Linda and Midge, what can I say but it's been a real pleasure and I look forward to working with you all for many, many years to come.
