Ulysses and Nadine looked at each other.

“Could we really have—” Nadine began the unbelievable question. Ulysses simply looked at her, raised an eyebrow, and smiled.

Together they turned and looked out from the top of the pyramid into the vast blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Although Nadine wasn't sure if she and Ulysses had actually played a part in it, deep down inside, her soul joined with his and smiled at a job well done.
