It is eleven at night when Tristan’s phone
rings. Hello Elaina how are you sister? I am fine brother. I
thought you might be anxious to hear about who is at my house. “Who
is it”, replied Tristan? “It is your mate. I wasn’t sure at first,
and then I recognized your scent on her along with another and

“How is she Elaina? Is she hurt or injured”, asked Tristan? “She is
fine and is asleep in my guest bedroom. It looks like she has had a
rough time though. Can I expect you soon to see her,” asked Elaina?
“I can’t come right now but I need you to keep her there as long as
possible until I can take care of a couple of things. How do you
know her”, replied Tristan? “I went to Respiratory School with her.
We graduated at the same time. I will do my best to keep your mate
safe until you arrive. I love you Tristan and will see you soon”,
replied Elaina. The phone goes dead and he is ecstatic. I will make
plans first thing in the morning. I have a feeling that today is

I wake up at the break of dawn and am anxious

At the Appalachian Pack Michael is finally

She has escaped and we need to find her before she gets back to the
Black Mountain Pack. The scouts run off in every direction looking

will find.

I walk into the house and head to my bedroom

strength. You never know when you may need it,” replied Tristan.

to his sister’s home. He gets out of the truck and heads for the
front door. Before he can knock on the door, the door flies open
