“Hello,” Sam said and walked straight through after he heard the doctor ask him to come in.

“Hello,” the doctor replied with a wide smile before getting to his feet and offering his hand for both of them to shake. “I am Dr. Mathews.”

Sam took a seat opposite the doctor and took out his badge. “I am Detective Sam and I am here to investigate the murder of one of your clients.”

“Murder case?” he asked, confused.

“Yes, Rita Sutter was found murdered about a week ago in her apartment and we are trying to investigate her case.”

“Rita is dead?”

“I am afraid so.”

“That is really sad news,” Dr. Mathews answered.

“What is even more sad,” Tracy said, “is that her body is missing, it was stolen from the morgue.”

“Are you serious,” he said, alarmed. “I am sorry we have not been introduced.”

“I am Tracy Evans, the late Rita’s sister.”

Dr. Mathews had a very weird look spread over his face when he heard this and took a moment to look at Tracy. He then returned his gaze to Sam and shook his head slightly.

“You are Tracy? You grew up with Rita, right?”

“Yes, that is me,” she answered excitedly.

“Sam you said,” Dr. Mathews turned his attention to Sam and looked at him straight in the eye and only went on when Sam gave him a slight nod. “How exactly do you want me to help you?”

“I simply want you to give me the reasons that led Rita to come to therapy. It will really shed some light on the investigation.”

“I cannot reveal personal information about my clients unless you serve me a court order and confirmation of her death,” he answered. “But being a police officer you already know all that, so I will ask again – how do you really want me to help you?”

Sam took a moment to contemplate the doctor’s question before taking a deep breath.

“You are right, Dr. Mathews,” he said. “I am here trying to get an inside scoop on Rita and I hoped that bringing Tracy here would make you offer up a few leads that might help us in the investigation.”

“Smart,” Dr. Mathews answered. “But not as smart as me.”

He looked at Tracy once again and Sam felt like he had a lot to say about her. He then returned his gaze to Sam and let out a deep breath.

“I never do this for anyone, but Rita was also a friend to me and I will give you information that will not incriminate me as I wait for the court order.”

“That is mighty helpful of you,” Sam nodded and waited patiently for what Dr. Mathews would say next.

“Rita’s very erratic – what some people might call mean and wicked – behavior was a result of traumatic childhood experiences. There are a few drugs I prescribed to help her with her condition.”

“Was she mad?” Tracy asked and the excitement in her voice could not be missed.

Sam, however, threw her a warning look and waited for Dr. Mathews to keep talking.

“That is all I have,Detective. Now you have to get started with that court order if you want to get anything more from me.”

“Thank you,Doctor,” Sam answered and got to his feet. He then looked at Tracy who was still comfortably seated and did not like the look she gave Dr. Mathews.

“You have a lot more to say than that, I’m sure,” she said and leaned closer to him. “You had the chance to know what was going through the mind of a psychopath. Come on, and give me something else.”

“You seem really intrigued, Miss Evans.”

“I am.”

“Is there something in particular you would like to know about?”

“I would, but I know you will not tell me without a court order.”

“Of course.”

After a few more seconds of looking at Dr. Mathews, Tracy got to her feet and walked out after Sam.

“Thank you, Doctor,” were the last words Sam said before leaving the room. “I will be in touch.”

“Of course.”

Dr. Mathews waited for the two to completely disappear from his office before picking up his landline phone and placing a call. He listened to the beeping tone echoing through the telephone and took a deep breath once the recipient picked up the phone.

“You were right,” he said. “She was here.”

“Did she have it on her?”

“I couldn’t really tell, she had a sweater on that covered her neckline.”

“We have to get that necklace.”

“I know.”

“Do you have a plan?”

“I do,” Dr. Mathews answered. “But I will need time.”

“You know we do not have any time?”

“Yes, I know that,” Dr. Mathews answered. “I will simply have to be creative.”

“Alright.”

The line went dead without warning and Dr. Mathews was left staring at nothing in particular. He went on to think about the conversation he had just had with Sam and Tracy and tock out a cell phone from his pocket.

“Are you free now?”

“Yes, I am.”

“Would you mind sending me a car?”

“On the way.”

He then hung up the phone and pressed his intercom for his assistant.

“Sarah.”

“Yes, sir.”

“When is my next appointment?”

“In two hours.”

“O.k., I am stepping out of the office but should be back in time.”

“Okay.”

Dr. Mathews got to his feet and pocketed his cell phone and wallet before heading out of the office. The was no-one in the waiting bay when he left and this made him feel better about stepping out of the office. He walked out of the building and right into the familiar waiting car that was downstairs.

“Hello, Dr. Mathews,” the driver said as he got into the car.

“Hello, David.”

There was nothing else they could talk about as Dr. Mathews got into the back seat of the car. He looked out the window as David took the familiar shortcuts to his destination and this gave him time to reflect about his past.

Dr. Mathews was at the ripe of 35, had never been married but ran a very successful psychologist’s practice. He would bump into his college mates on occasion and they would always wonder at how fast he had risen to such success. He would always give them the rehearsed answer: he had nothing but his practice to devote his time and attention to. Most of them bought the story as they were probably parents and had family obligations. What Dr. Mathews never told them was the truth – the truth about his life and career was only known to very few people. One of them was his dominatrix, Christine. She was an older woman he had met while tending bar at a party in college.

Christine did the hunting and Dr. Mathews had loved being hunted. She called him Peter back then and still did. Dr. Mathews reflected on how he had fallen prey to something he never thought he would in his wildest dreams. The car came to a halt sooner than expected and he was forced to snap out of his reverie.

“We’re here,” David announced and stepped out of the driver’s seat to get the door for him.

“Thank you, David,” he mouthed and stepped out of the car. He let his gaze rest on the huge mansion and walked right in it and straight to where he knew Christine would be. He knew his way around the house well enough and was soon at the bedroom door. He knocked softly on it in the usual way that he always did and waited for an invitation to go in.

“Come in, Peter,” the familiar melodious voice called from the other side of the door, and he pushed it open. He walked into a much familiar yet unexpected scene and stood his ground. He marveled at the way Christine had taken her time to dress in a skimpy leather costume. She wore a leather bra with matching panties that had red lacing. In her right hand was a long whip and she had her hair held back in a tight bun. Her gaze locked with his and he immediately turned away and looked down knowing well enough it was a forbidden act.

“On your knees, love,” she said in a soft but at the same time very stern voice.

Peter did as he was asked and slowly got to his knees. His head was bent low to avoid any eye contact with Christine. He heard Christine’s boots step towardhim. She got to where he was and stretched her right foot towards him.

“Lick it,” she said.

Dr. Mathews directed his head towards the boot and began to lick it the best way he knew how. He had done it a few times before and knew how she liked it. He started with the front of it and proceeded to the back, kissing and licking where he could. He then grasped her leg with his right hand and started to move up the boot from the foot to the knee until he finally discovered her bare thigh. He hesitated a moment and waited to hear her stop him but she did not, she instead gave him a small nudge with the end of her whip and encouraged him to go on. He kissed the soft inner part of her thigh and proceeded northward. He was still on his knees as he did this and had to lift her right leg and rest it on his neck as he proceeded.

“That’s a good boy,” she said and let out playful moan. “Keep going.”

He stretched out his hand and took out her panties; he then cupped them in his hands and sniffed them before loosening his tie and replacing them with it. He then positioned himself in a way that he could get to where her female hood was and went on to make her moan out loud. He licked, sucked and nibbled where and when he could until his face was wet with her juices.

Peter felt a sharp pain run up his spine from Christine’s whip and he knew what it meant, he had to change position. He pulled back from her and waited for his next instruction. Christine walked a few paces from him and got on all fours; she then looked into his direction and called out to him.

“Do me”

Peter did not need to be shot twice, he made his way to her and positioned himself well behind her on his knees. This all happened after he stripped his clothes off his body in a blink of an eye. He then thrust himself deep into her and without warning started moving in her at a supersonic speed. He went on to maintain the speed with Christine moaning louder and louder with every thrust.

They both lost themselves in the moment and with each knowing the other very well, they gave enough time to each other and climaxed at the same time. Peter collapsed at her side and took in a deep breath after the heated steamy session they had just had.

“That was amazing,” he said and let out a smile.

“What is wrong?”

“What do you mean?”

“You heard me,” Christine answered as she sat up on the floor and faced him. “What is going on with you? I know there is something on your mind.”

“How do you know that?”

“I could tell from the way you just banged me like it was an audition,” she answered. “Don’t forget I know you better than you know yourself.”

“I have just been informed about the death of one of my patients”

“Was she close to you?”

“Yes, she was my patient for about six years.”

“Were you screwing her too?”

Peter went silent for a minute before looking up at Christine and wondering how to answer her question.

“You were screwing her,” she said. “Peter…”

“I am sorry.”

“Come on, you know exactly what I am mad at,” she said. “We had an agreement.”

“I know we did.”

“So why didn’t you tell me about her?”

“Because you would have told me to stop seeing her.”

“No I wouldn’t,” Christine protested but somehow knew she was not really telling the truth.

“Yes you would, you have made me break up with other women in the past even after I told you there was nothing really serious going on.”

“You know I do not like to share,” she answered. “And I hope this does not come off as bitchy but she is now dead, there is not much competition there.”

From the look that Peter had on his face after that comment was made, Christine could tell that he was hurt. She moved closer to him and pulled him into a tight embrace.

“I am sorry for your loss.”

“Thank you.”

They stayed in a tight embrace for a minute longer before Peter threw a glance at his wristwatch and realized he was going to be late for his next appointment.

“I have to get back to work.”

“Okay, dear,” she answered and watched as he started dressing up. “You have been quite busy of late.”

“Are you jealous?”

“Slightly.” Christine shrugged and let her nude body spread on the floor. She looked up at Peter and smiled widely. “I just think you should remember who built you, who made a name for you.”

Peter had pulled up his pants and walked over bare-chested to where she was. He loved how beautiful she looked at her age. Christine had made a lot of plastic surgeons rich.

“I can never forget how much you helped me,” he said. “I owe you a lot.”

“Yes, you do.”

They shared a passionate kiss before Peter returned to dressing and threw on his shirt. He picked up her panties that he had initially wore around his neck and held them up for her to see.

“Can I keep these?”

“You know my rule about taking souvenirs with you.”

“I know that,” Peter complained. “Come on, Christine, I have known you for quite some time. Now you know you can trust me.”

“Nice try,” she chuckled. “Next time, try and color your voice with more emotion.”

Peter knew there was no much arguing with her. He frowned and placed the panties on the floor next to her whip before tying his tie. He then fixed his gaze on her and took a few steps to where she was.

“Till next time, Christine,” he said and placed a kiss on her forehead.

“Goodbye, Peter.”

He looked at his wristwatch again and started walking towards the door. He knew the car was waiting on him and loved the refreshed after-sex feeling that now overwhelmed him. He got into the back of the car and waited for it
to drive away. His mind was now focused on his next client and knew how much he loved crying. He exhaled deeply as a hunger pang crept up on him and wished he had time to get a sandwich. He focused his mind back on his patient and decided to ignore his hunger. He made a mental reference to his notes and tried to recall any practical thing he had asked him to apply in real life. He saw his office building approach
in the distance and recalled what Christine had just told him.
