Using his key, Delona unlocked the door, allowing it to swing wide open.  She turned on the living room lights and moved aside, granting him passage into the massive structure.  His steps were slow but steady, giving little indication as to the depth of his inebriation. His eyes still looked haunted.  This was the first time she had ever witnessed him in such a melancholy mood, let alone drinking, and it frightened her.  An overwhelming desire to search his house and rid it of any remnants of the poison made her step in behind him.  She closed the door and began scanning the ample living space, hoping that it held the answer to the mystery linked to this latest turn of events.

She chanced a look at Koen, who was standing a few feet in front of her, facing the same direction.  Even though she only had a view of his well-fitted suit and messy chestnut hair from the back, she could tell that he was still bothered.  The desire to help him was there, but she was at a complete loss as to what to do.  The thought to ask him was pushed from her mind by his slow but sudden movement.

Koen turned sluggishly until he was facing Delona.  She watched as his eyes slowly lifted to meet hers.  She was temporarily distracted by the right hand that he extended toward her.  “I need you tonight,” were the first words he had spoken to her since finding him with the bourbon bottle in his hand at the office.

Why does Koen sound like a bad ’80s love song?  Should I be ashamed that I think I recognize it?
All thought and humor vanished completely when her eyes met back up with his.  The words he had spoken were overridden by the now vacant look in his soft emerald eyes.  In a trance-like state, she closed the short distance between them without breaking eye contact with him.  Their hands met, shifting the control he held over her from his eyes to the heat of his skin.  He turned and slowly led her down a long hallway.

Before she knew it, she was standing in an enormous bedroom beside a large cherry sleigh bed.  Koen gazed down at her, his eyes full of desire.  The warmth of his touch was still radiating through her hand and sending tingles up her arm.  The smell of his breath, which earlier she had found offensive, suddenly smelled sweet as it reached out and tickled her nose.  The heat intensified within her when he got busy removing every stitch of their clothing.

Once they were both completely naked, her eyes were drawn to his chest and stomach.  Every muscle of his torso was well defined.  She reached up and gently began to run her hands along the contours of his pecs and six-pack, enjoying the softness of his hairless skin.  The depth of the rise and fall of his chest increased with each caress, provoking her to touch him even more.

Her attention shifted to his eyes again when he gently gathered her hands in his, halting her perusal, before sitting on the edge of the bed facing her.  His eyes were level with her breasts.   She gazed down at him as he stared at them in awe.  Delona usually became self-conscious whenever someone stared at her breasts, but the look in Koen’s eyes made her feel nothing but cherished.  Her heart began to race when he lifted his large hands to them and softly cupped the large globes.  He started squeezing and caressing them, the sensation of his act overwhelming her.  She moved her hands up to rest on his broad shoulders for support.

He began to tease her nipples with the pads of his thumbs, eliciting a deep moan from her and drawing his lustful gaze back up to her face. Their eyes locked.  Slowly, he leaned forward and started to apply light kisses to the valley between her breasts.  Like a kitten, he began brushing his lightly stubbled cheek against them before taking one of the taut nipples into his mouth.  A flash of intense pleasure ignited her core, causing a flood of wetness to gather between her thighs.  She threw her head back in pleasure as he continued gently suckling and laving the dark nub.  A few minutes later, he turned his attention to the other one, allowing his thumb and index finger to play with the one he had just abandoned.

Never in her life had she thought it possible to orgasm from breast foreplay alone, but she could feel the wave building within her.  Shock and pleasure filled her senses as the walls of her inner core suddenly contracted, causing her to almost topple over.  Strong arms encompassed her as stars clouded her vision and her legs gave way.  He was standing again, holding her against him while he applied chaste kisses along her neck and ear.  He held on to her tightly as she came down from her high, making her feel safe and warm.  When she was able to stand again, he released her.

The opening and closing of the nightstand drawer caused her to open her eyes.  In his hand he held a condom.  Delona shifted her gaze from his hand to the member he planned to place it over, the gesture bringing her back to her senses.
Oh my
,
who would’ve thunk he could fit a pile driver in those tight pants of his

Suddenly, she was afraid.  Her fear made her realize that this was her do-or-die moment.  Common sense told her she should grab her clothes and run before this went any further.  But it was too late.  Before she could make her move, the tearing of the foil wrapper interrupted her plan.  It was her turn to watch in awe as he skillfully placed the large protective barrier over his impressive erection.  Gently, he put his index finger under her chin and brought her eyes back up to his, ensnaring her in his hypnotic gaze again.  He embraced her, conveying his dire need through this intimate display of affection.

Nothing this side of earth could have prepared Delona for what came next.  The soft warm kiss that he applied to her lips was like none other she had ever experienced.  His lips were made of silk, were soft as rose petals, which she thought quite unusual for a man of his stature.  The touch of them filled her emotionally and completely, despite it being light and airy.  At that moment she surmised that many good things could be said about the whole metrosexual thing.  Those smoldering embers raged anew within her when he smoothly parted her lips and expertly darted his long tongue deeply into her mouth.

Without breaking the kiss, he backed them up to the bed and sat down again.  He eased himself back onto the flat surface of the bed, pulling her down on top of him.  Warmth radiated through her as he held her closely, her large breasts pressed snuggly against his sculpted chest.  Just about every inch of the front of their bodies collided, transforming the warmth into delightful prickles that began to seep through every pore of her skin.  He ran his hands over her back and buttocks, each touch leaving a trail of heat in its path.  His right hand went behind her head, pulling her ever deeper into the kiss while his long, velvety tongue continued to probe deliciously in her mouth.  He wrapped his other arm around her waist, holding her in place on top of him when she began to wiggle with desire.

The sensation of his thick hard member between her thighs revived her earlier fears.  She grew anxious, as it appeared to grow even thicker and longer with each caress of his tongue.  She knew from experience that a penis of any size could be dangerous if used incorrectly and hoped like hell he knew how to use his.

As though sensing her fear, he broke the kiss to gaze at her, his hand gliding to her cheek where he softly caressed her.  He gently repositioned her face, causing their eyes to make that hypnotic connection again, and rendering her utterly powerless against him.  There, in those eyes, she saw an emotion that was foreign to her.  It caused her already exhilarated heart to skip a beat and at the same time relaxed her.  Without removing his eyes from her face, Koen carefully spread her legs farther apart.  In one smooth thrust, he entered her from beneath.  The move was so fluid she felt nothing but pleasure as he delicately stretched her channel.

Slowly, he began to move within her, never breaking eye contact.  The intensity of his stare thrilled her.  Each slow methodical stroke brought her closer and closer to that place she had been only moments before.
Is this what it’s like to make love?
she wondered.  Then a wave hit her.  Grabbing her hips with both hands, he pushed deeper into her as her body convulsed and wiggled on top of him.  Her cries were gathered into his open mouth as he closed it over her swollen lips, never breaking his rhythm.  He paused momentarily when she collapsed on top of him, allowing her to catch her breath.  Without pulling out, he reversed their positions and started her on her way toward another wave.

Chapter 13

During her short life, Delona had been called many things, including cynical, cerebral, and even bratty on occasion.  Today she could add another title to that short list… a runner.  Dawn had just broken when she left Koen sleeping off his booze/sexually-induced coma.
So much for alcohol inhibiting sexual performance
, she thought.  The man had been relentless with his lovemaking and she acknowledged that it would be a bold face lie to say she hadn’t enjoyed every moment of it.  No one had ever made her feel that good, let alone that many times in one night.

Her mind went back to how natural it had felt to wake up in the warmth of Koen’s embrace with him snoring in her ear, his luscious lips slightly parted.  She smiled.  Oddly enough, the same snoring that had lulled her to sleep sometime in the wee hours of the night had woken her up with a start bright and early that morning.  Once the reality of what she had done over and over again the previous night hit her, she had sprung from the bed like a jackrabbit on fire.  It didn’t take her long to get dressed.  However, she did take time to thoroughly search the house for any trace of alcohol.  When she was satisfied there was none, she had snuck out.

Anyone bearing witness to her departure would have thought her nuts as she speed-walked like an Olympic athlete down the streets of suburban L.A., begging the cab company to please come and find her — Okay, so she wasn’t quite speed walking.  She was a little too sore for that.  She knew she looked quite out of place boldly trekking through the pristine neighborhood wearing her favorite pink sweatpants and matching Big Dogs sweatshirt.  Without the benefit of having worn a night scarf or the availability of a scrunchie, she had been forced to leave the beautiful beach home with her untamed hair flailing wildly about her head.  She was too overwhelmed to care or to remember Koen’s address at the moment.  Desperation was running the show as she strived to put distance between herself and the beautiful home where her shameful deed had taken place.

Once enough distance lay between her and the man who had ravished her all night, she finally stopped walking.  She looked at the street sign and the number of the house she was in front of and gave the cab dispatcher an honest address.  Heated stares coming from the home’s residents scorched her back as she waited at the end of their driveway.  But at this point in her plight, she was well beyond being polite and chose to ignore them.

The cab ride home did little to ease her discomfort.  She swore the cabdriver was judging her as though he could tell what and whom she had spent the night doing.  To make matters worse, she walked into what she thought would be the sanctity of her apartment, only to find her meddlesome roommate waiting for her on the couch.  Cara was in her pajamas, tightly clutching a pillow.  Delona could only gawk, wondering how her roommate always managed to keep her makeup looking so fresh.

“Delona!” Cara started sternly.  “Where have you been?  Please don’t tell me you’ve been out all night with that bozo.”  Cara shook her head in disappointment.

Delona’s cheeks heated.  She exhaled loudly before plopping down heavily on one of the breakfast bar stools. Roger had totally slipped her mind.  “No, I wasn’t with Roger,” she answered, absentmindedly picking at her thumb nail with her index finger.  Reluctantly, she pulled her cell phone out of the pocket of her sweatshirt.  There were seven missed calls and messages from him.  Shame fell over her for having stood him up, knowing for whom and why. Cara’s throat clearing interrupted her private reprimand.

“So if you weren’t out with Roger, who…” Delona’s inability to meet her eyes gave Cara reason to pause.  Suddenly, Cara sat up straighter.  An excited gasp escaped her.  “You were with Koen, weren’t you?” she inquired.  Her beautiful blue eyes were wild with anticipation of Delona’s answer, but it was evidently Delona’s silence that told all.

“Yes!” Cara shouted, thrusting two victorious V’s toward the heavens.  “Am I good or what?  I told you that man was in love with you.”

“Come on, Cara.  What’s Roger going to think of me when he finds out I stood him up for another man?” Delona asked, disconcerted.  “I don’t know what to tell him.”  She stopped and thought about that for a moment.   “Perhaps I should go for complete honesty… But the part of me that doesn’t want to hurt him is suggesting I fib.  Maybe I should just pretend I was under the weather,” Delona contemplated.

“Or you could go for a combination of the two and confess you spent the night using Koen’s dick as a thermometer.”  Delona’s sharp intake of breath caused Cara to roll on the couch in laughter.  “Judging from the amount of time you spent with him, I take it you repeated the act every few hours as needed.”  She broke out into another full-belly round of laughter.

Delona couldn’t help but chuckle at her friend’s amusement.  “My goodness, woman!  What in the world has gotten into you?  I’ve never heard you talk so crudely before.”

“I don’t know… Maybe I’ve been getting my own temperature checked,” Cara stated saucily.

“Oooh, by who?”

“Oh, no you don’t.  Don’t even try to turn this conversation on me.  My love life is all set.  You’re the one trying to juggle two men.”

“Please…don’t remind me,” Delona said with a roll of her eyes.

“You know, when you think about it, you haven’t actually gone out with Roger.  I believe  the ‘they’ of the dating world would say you really don’t owe him a detailed explanation, if anything.  Just tell him you’re involved with someone else.”  Cara shrugged her shoulders for emphasis.

“I wouldn’t exactly say that Koen and I are involved.”
